Born in Lancashire in the North of England, Sam Shackleton is an old-fashioned gentleman with a wicked sense of humour and music with intricate, snaking percussions, hypnotic melodies, seriously deep bass lines and dubwise sensibilities.
Shackleton has been carving out his own brand of eclecticism on his Skull Disco imprint until its retirement in 2008. Nowadays his releasing on labels like Perlon, Honest Jon’s Records or his new record label Woe To The Septic Heart!
Sam Shackleton, one of bass music’s most enigmatic figures, live at the Lethargy 2012.
