HELEEN BLANKEN & DANIEL DE BRUIN installation

FR/SA | Aktionshalle

Heleen Blanken and Daniel de Bruin are two Dutch artists working at the intersection of art, technology, and nature. From their studios in Amsterdam and Soesterberg, they each cultivate a distinctive practice exploring the relationship between humans, nature, and machines.

Blanken creates immersive installations, scenography, video works, and sculptures that delve into layered perceptions of the natural world, while De Bruin constructs mechanical devices and tool-like objects that reframe our interaction with technology.

Both approach their work with an experimental and interdisciplinary mindset, merging intuition with engineering. Their works have been presented in museums and festivals around the world and are characterised by an imaginative vision of a hybrid future, one where the organic and the artificial, the analog and the digital, the human and the mechanical are in constant dialogue.
