Leftfield’s explosive live shows once shook venues so hard they got banned - now they return to the stage this summer at Lethargy Festival.
Formed in 1988, Leftfield quickly became one of the most influential and innovative dance music acts of all time. Originally comprised of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley, Leftfield’s legendary live performances paired with seminal albums, Leftism (1995) and Rhythm & Stealth (1999), solidified their position as true pioneers.
Leftfield collaborated with icons like John Lydon or Afrika Bambaataa, pushing boundaries with their dynamic, ever evolving and groundbreaking fusion of house, techno, dub and breakbeat.
After a hiatus in 2002, Barnes revived the project in 2010, and Leftfield returned with the acclaimed Alternative Light Source (2015), before releasing This Is What We Do (2022). The album was crafted by Neil Barnes with long-time studio and mix engineer Adam Wren, who also accompanies him on stage.
With their iconic shark-jaw artwork and seismic basslines, Leftfield’s music still commands dance floors worldwide. Will their upcoming performance shake the Aktionshalle as fiercely as Brixton Academy? Fans won’t want to miss it.
