Since she could hold a pencil, Nina Bejo drew and painted as a way to express herself.
She studied Illustration and Graphic design at the Sutnar faculty of Design and Art, in Czechia.
As she continuously explores new techniques and ways to express through visual art she starts traveling while studying. As first in the National Academy of Arts in Bulgaria where she studied Traditional printed graphic, Painting and Book design.
After that, she went to study in Indonesia. There she spent the following 5 years, integrating the indigenous art and traditional techniques and crafts, textile art such as batik.
In 2017 she also started incorporating tattoos in her art toolbox. The tattooing becomes a way to combine the other art techniques mixing different styles in her own blend. She has exhibited her art in solo and group exhibitions around Czech Republic, Java and Bali.
Since her first explorations in big canvases, working with the figure, she jumped over Restoration and reconstruction of historical mural paintings, sculptures and reliefs to paint her own designs on the walls.
The mural journey started 2017 winning a project - Design the Illustration for Mural painting at Philosophical Faculty, University of West Bohemia. Design and realization of mural painting, Czechia. Besides other projects to mention for example Mural collaboration for the project Kebun Bibi Art gallery and volunteering as a mentor of mural painting project.
