Paulina "krata" Zybinska is an interdisciplinary designer and researcher specializing in the relationship between technology, human perception, and embodiment. She performs under the alias krata as a VJ and live coder, creating visuals through real-time improvisation between generative art and algorithms. In her day work, Paulina lectures at various universities on critical uses of Machine Learning and researchers the impact of using Deepfakes in mental health applications in VR. She also runs the audiovisual collective "unsorted", which functions as a community hub for designers, hackers, and musicians to experiment with new media, toolmaking and DIY culture.
