Hailing from Brighton UK, James Flavell has had an intriguing musical journey so far.

From punk rock drummer to electronic music maestro, he's carved out a unique sound characterised by intricately layered percussion and captivating melodies, whilst incorporating organic live-recorded instruments, adding depth and authenticity to his sound.

Cementing a place on the underground scene, FAIDE has released music on the likes of Stiel Vor Talent, Frau Blau, Reculture, Mood Music and Applied Magic and his tracks have been championed by noticeable names such as Mano Le Tough, Jimi Jules, Solomun, Kadosh, Aera, Hardt Antoine, Echonomist among others.

Over the last year FAIDE has played to crowds across Europe including headline slots in Prague, Copenhagen and Rome, as well as extended sets in renowned London nightclubs Phonox and Studio 338.

AVOY - FAIDE’s Brighton based party, curates line ups from both up-and-coming artists who inspire him as well as hand picked, talented local residents.His commitment to event curation and support for emerging artists showcases his dedication to fostering a vibrant and inclusive electronic music scene.
