Emerging in 2017, Ko Shin Moon has steadily carved out a singular space within the contemporary psych-synth underground. Operating as a fluid collective, the project blurs temporal and geographic boundaries, fusing traditional string instruments with analog electronics in a studio practice that feels as much archival as futurist. Ancient repertoires collide with kosmische textures, psych rock propulsion, and the kinetic energy of club culture.

Hypnotic saz motifs intertwine with vintage synth arpeggios, motorik pulses, and Lysergic atmospheres, shaping a sound both ritualistic and dancefloor-ready. The trio navigates seamlessly through Anatolian folk, Mediterranean space disco, cold wave austerity, and italo disco shimmer-less as pastiche than as a carefully mapped dialogue between diasporic
memory and forward-thinking production.

Late 2025 sees the release of siN (Total Totem/ Gulbaba Records), the fifth chapter in an ever-mutating discography. On stage, Ko Shin Moon expands into a dynamic trio—Axel Moon (saz, vocals, production), joined by Myriam EI Moumni or Dilan Ozsu (synths, guitar vocals), and Souleimen Belayachi (synths)-translating their meticulous studio alchemy into a live experience where psychedelic trance and electronic drive converge with visceral intensity.
