Formed in 2022 from the meeting of violinist Joachim Baumerder and drummer Simon Lacouture, MARTA is a french live techno duo that channels the energy of the club into a fully performed live set. Their approach is built around a deliberately stripped-down setup: violin, drums, pedals, and a few layers, serving a physical, repetitive, dance-driven sound where organic elements constantly interact with techno codes.
