SMØR&BRØD is the story of a someone who leaves his rural hometown to settle in the
city. There, he discovers urban agitation, its dense sonic imprint, and electronic music.
From violinist to producer, he trades strings for a sampler — marking the beginning of a
new musical era.

SMØR&BRØD is a producer of repetitive and rhythmic electronic music. Surrounded by
his synthesizers and drum machines, he layers acid lines, dub chords, arpeggios and
stuttering beats. Drawing from his sound-system background, he arranges, mixes and
deconstructs his tracks. He takes you on a journey, offering a technical and evolving live
set that blends dub culture with electro dreams.Till Girardier, aka SMØR&BRØD, is a
Geneva-based electronic music producer, deeply involved in the local associative music scene.
Surrounded by synthesizers, drum machines, a mixing desk and effects pedals, he keeps computers at bay and develops a distinct sonic identity —dawless is more.
